I witnessed the most horrible customer service here. The waitress was distracted and talking and leaned the tray, dropping an entire cup/bowl of bean sauce over someone passing by.
He was covered head to toe in sauce, it even went to his eyes. I'm not talking about a little stain, his whole body was splattered.
The waitress just said sorry like she didn't care and moved on.
He proceeded to talk to the manager, who was aggressive and arrogant. He said accidents happen, and added 'what do you want me to do about it?'
He leaned over the person, and became face-to-face, as to intimidate him, and swayed his arms.
I know accidents happen. It's not about the accident. It's about the atitude. These people have poor work ethics, rude, arrogant and need to be more humble.
I worked in restaurants and in customer service, so I know it's not an easy job. But I know better. I would never act this way.
All the one star reviews here talk about the poor service. There is even another story like this one.

To put it into perspective; we weāre sick of cod after weeks in Portugal. Our server Thomas (who was awesome) insisted we try their cod and it was insanely good. The beef and other things on the menu such as the cheese bread were divine.
Interestingly not many English speaking tourists here but still rammed, so would advise booking an outdoor seat...

They laughed at us for talking in English and then we were charged 10⬠for 2 little RED Porto glasses. -We have been paying between 1,5⬠and 3⬠everywhere else-
The waitress didnāt want to bring us a receipt, and after a while we convince her that making a copy wasnāt that difficult.
We didnāt even have a table -we were standing outside- and we had to order at the bar cause everyone ignored us.
Really poor service if...
