I'm lost for words for this place. We went for my birthday meal last night and it blew us away. From the get go the service was amazing, (Jonny greeted us) and we never once felt rushed. The dishes are seasonal and so the menu changes occasionally but regardless the craft that goes into each dish is nothing short of genius. The flavours are so well balanced and creative. Paired with the great natural wines they had went down a treat. My favourite dish was definitely the beetroot tartar, ordinarily I'm not a fan of beetroot but this was on another level. Slightly tangy, earthy, umami with a bit of bite from the beetroot. The other dishes were also sensational! The pacing of the meal was also great, we were given a new dish shortly after the previous dish was finished, meaning we weren't rushed to eat up and move on quickly. The deserts are amazing, we had the dark chocolate mousse - incredibly indulgent and packs so much flavour. 10/10 recommended going here with partners or friends so you can try more dishes! We will be back soon.

First night in Lusbon and discovered this gem. We were recommended to select 2 dishes each which was a hard ask as they all sounded delicious. We chose the burrata, tomatoes, beetroot, crudo, beef, lamb and sourdough. We were not disappointed, in fact we were wowed by the textures and flavours. My favourites were the beef...thin but not too thin strips of perfectly cooked rare beef.... and tomatoes intense and sweet. The crudo was sweet, sour and creamy. We were able to try 3 wines before making a decision. We had both the desserts. The sage chantilly cream was delicious. I had the black garlic infused chocolate mousse which had a very intense flavour and not at all garlicky. The chef showed us the black garlic and explained how it was achieved. The service was very friendly and helpful. The bill was €164 for 3 of us including 2 bottles of wine but before service much might seem expensive but the quality of the food was worth it

What an incredible positive surprise! By far our best dining experience in Lisbon. Chef, proprietor #Yann_Rotundo and his partner #Stephanie_Graisier have found an unconventional approach to culinary enjoyment. From start to finish this was fabulous. All dishes can be and should be shared. Each dish has its own distinct character and taste. Smell, taste, colors and consistency are in perfect harmony. Have we experienced the Mozart of culinary arts in Lisbon? The ingredients are original, tasty and Chef Yann and his team seem to be able to maintain the taste of the ingredients distinguishable and coordinated in a lovely culinary melodious way. Yann is also a grad of the famous EHL in Lausanne, Switzerland which is evident in the overall experience, no doubt Stephanie’s Swiss hospitality is also an important addition. There are only twenty seats, so make sure you reserve ahead! Thanks Chef Yann, Stephanie and fabulous team.

(4.0/5) This is the good stuff. A cozy place for some intimate wining and dining (closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Fantastically friendly and knowledgeable waiters to guide you through the dinner. Maluca lets you experience new combinations of flavours and local ingredients which you won’t find anywhere else. Mind you the menu changes based on what is available in the region during that time, so all produce is fresh and adhered to seasonal principles. The wine selection is great, and if you’re in doubt the waiters know a great deal of what works with what. The menu is shared dining, they recommend two dishes per person, so four in total (but also get their desserts please). A note on the current menu. The selection doesn’t do justice to the quality of meat available in the region, the confit pork being the only real cut on the menu. I could perhaps recommend adding one such dish to the ‘starters’ on the menu. And lastly, the chocolate brownie (more deconstructed really) is too dominated by the miso ginger, and the nectarine was too salty. The sardines however I can highly recommendBesides all that, my favourite...

I love everything about Maluca, so much so that I almost wanted to keep this place a secret, but they deserve their flowers. In a nutshell, beautiful food, ambiance, and service and Every. Single. Thing. on the menu is divine! I especially loved the boubou (burrata) and the ✨new ✨roasted pork dish with pickled mustard seeds. Heaven. As a former food professional all I can say is, this chef has a magic palate. Elevated but not pretentious. Elegant but not stuffy. Simple yet completely inspiring. The textures. The flavors. Omg the fermented shitake butter that came with the couvert! We wanted to wipe every plate clean with that bread. And the presentation is utterly gorgeous. We went on a Monday which proved to be a good option because there was plenty of space available. Given that they only have 5-6 tables, you’re definitely better off making a reservation. And pro tip: don’t sleep on the mocktails! The pinky (I think that was the name? super citrusy with clementine) was my fave 😍 Maluca is going to be my new go-to spot to take people from...
