The staff was very friendly and the food just OK, but the prices are ridiculous.

The portions are like 3 tablespoons each thing, so for 12 euros you get the couscous (which was cold!), and a tiny bowl of garbanzo. 3 euros for a small coffee? They must think they're actually in Melbourne because it's too much for mediocre vegetarian food.

Lastly, my experience was very bad because there was a peruvian woman, maybe the boss? Being very rude to the staff in front of us customers. While she was all smiles to clients 2 secs later she'd be yelling stuff like "well you could've done it correctly but you didn't!!" "Who made this mistake?!" " why did you did that?" Stuff like that... very uncomfortable to witness. If she's the boss I hope you learn that's no way to treat people! Employees deserve respect. If she's not the owner, she should be...

I don’t usually write reviews but the service was so excellent I had to praise them. The coffee is delicious and tasty but what got to me the most was the staff. I was not a functional human being when I went to get my coffee on the go; I was sleep deprived, late for work and could barely talk. The staff made my morning: their sympathy, their kindness, their smile; they made me smile, even giggle a little and drew a heart on my coffee. It was heart warming and I’m glad I went there; I don’t know the names of the man and woman that took and prepared my order but thank you for being there and making my day! Thank you for the easy and light atitude, the smiles and the conversation;...

I have had only very few excellent quality coffees from 100% Brazilian beans. So often it is just bulk product used for cheap Italian espresso (or so goes the general stereotype in America). So, I was skeptical at first...but was quickly comforted by a delicious single shot. Brazilians, Joanna and her husband, opened Benjamin (named after their son) 6 months ago following a five year stint in Australia, and seemingly ONLY use Brazilian beans. The espresso was perfect - bright, fruity, balanced - pulled off a work-horse La Marzocco Linea EE. I could not have asked for anything more. I wish them the best, and look forward to a stop at Benjamin on my next...

This brunch spot is a gem and safe bet for an Aussie brekkie. Tucked away in the corner of a super calm street, it attracts locals and foreigners alike. There are small tables inside and outside (under an umbrella), making it perfect whether you are alone with a book or laptop, or with a friend or partner. The matcha latte was amongst the best I tried in Lisbon thus far. The chai was rich, aromatic and free from sugar - exactly how it should be. The avocado toast with scrambled eggs was satisfying and hit all the right notes. The staff are friendly and attentive and the service prompt. I’ll go back.

Loved everything about this place! The service was warm and welcoming, as well as shakshuka! The shakshuka was rich and full of flavor—I highly recommend adding an extra egg and some chicken with chili jam for an extra kick. The flat white was also incredible, perfectly balanced and smooth. On top of that, the location is amazing. Sitting by the window and watching the street go by made the whole experience even better. Great spot for good food, great coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
