Campo de Ourique is a beautifil area in Lisbon, full of restaurants and bars designed especially for tourists. This O Bitoque sounds and looks exactly as a true and authentic portoguese restaurant. A bit old fashioned but also accurate in the decorations with the typical Azulejos on the wall. I loved the possibility to have dinner at the bar, straight in front of the waitresses, like some old American diners. The son speaks good English abut entire family is very friendly with the Portuguese ease of life type of vibe. Sitting at the counter can see how busy they are, many take away orders from locals. Made to order dish hence I waited a bit longer than the “hungry after gym” self care would like to, but hey the sea bream portion is sooo big only 10EUR you can come with a friend and share some dishes together.
