Taberna Londrina Lisboa, Campo Grande — Restaurant in Lisbon

It was so hot I was parched and came across this taberna, since there was a breeze I prefer to sit outside. I waited but no one came so I called my daughter on fone (let time pass)/and waited til someone and 20 mins still no one came even though their staff was also sitting outside. No one from the group signalled the staff inside that there's someone sitting obviously I wanted to be assisted to order. I in fact was with a walking stick means its difficult to move around but I was already getting pissed off and decided to just come in to take the menu the lady was at the counter. I sat again outside she didnt even come to ask my order ( she wasnt busy). Either I let myself more upset with the heat or I go in and get a drink myself! So I went in and sat, 10 mins passed a staff in shirt passed by didnt even look at me so I called him, hey pls I wana order ive been here over 30mins. So I ordered finally, chicken wrap came with two pieces of small meat more raw onion carrots. The rustic chips were dry I asked for ketchup, finished my wrap no ketchup, finished the mayo no ketchup. I called the cashier for ketchup she came to take the plates from the next table and asked if I only want ketchup. ..whee yes pls its been 20 mins again. Then she seem to forgot I looked at her wheres d ketchup she came and gave finally 30mins..the original lady I asked looked at me and smile oh I forgot ur ketchup do u still want it, I said no ur friend gave it. Customer service is not their priority, I saw a couple of staff coming in and out means they aren't under staff. Yes I am just one person complaining but ur staff behavior simply ruined my day and come to think of it I wanted to have a good meal no thinking of price but I waited almost and hour to be served I decided il just buy the least and hava drink calm myself. U dont know what people are going through and just do ur business, I just had surgery and still in pain your staff attitude made me regret coming to this place. What a waste for a nice looking boutique resto cafe the people aren't welcoming. Superb!

Probably the best Francesinhas in Lisbon!!!

I was long overdue to go to Taberna Londrina Campo Grande and finally treat myself with one of their delicious dishes.

Being that they're more popularly known for their Francesinhas, i decided to order the best one they have available: Bife de Lombo.

Despite the steeper price tag i soon realised that the 19€ were absolutely justified thanks to the quality of the food.

The Francesinha is extremely tasty, the meat is tender and juicy and the sauce is creamy while keeping a light and liquid texture.

The french fries come in a generous serving considering the affordable price (in comparison with other competitor restaurants) and taste like prime home-made fries. I would only add a bit more salt to them, but all in all, they're great.

Finally the desert. I went with the Oreo mousse, mixed the oreo with the cream and it was, quite frankly, one of the best restaurant desserts i've ever had.

It's a bit expensive considering the ammount served (see the picture below). Something this small has has no right being so delicious as i went through the whole thing in about a minute and a half and practically without lifting my gaze off the dessert cup.

Yeah, it's that good.

Suffice it to say that it was a great first experience, i downloaded their app (yes, they an app that allows you to accumulate points everytime you go there! How nice is that?) and i intend to go there again soon to gorge on one more of their Francesinhas.

Very rude staff, noisy restaurant and the food is just okay. We went to have dinner there on a Monday, at around 20h30. Firstly we tried to have a table for 8, two of us came a bit sooner before the rest of the group. Once the table was ready, we were only two at the door but the rest were arriving 3 min later. Staff didn't want to let us in only if the others would show up. They finally did and said "this is a one time thing, generally we would not let you in" - there was no one else waiting for table or even near the restaurant. Our order was taken in a rush and as a result many things were wrong. A waitress came with two plates and asked for whom they were. We replied that no one had ordered that - she proceeded to say, with an annoyed face, "I will repeat once again, who is this to? this is very heavy!" as if we were mocking her. She went back with the plates and started complaining visibly to the colleagues. They came two other times with the wrong plates before we got what we ordered and - surprise - fries were cold. I do understand they might be tired, but he waiter was straight up rude to us. There was a university group besides us, of younger people, and we felt they were treating us this way because they thought we were also from uni, as if that was an excuse.
