Tiles Bar — Restaurant in Lisbon

Mediocre at best. We came here because of the good reviews but it wasn't great. Very limited vegetarian options, but I had a paella which was pretty bland. My boyfriend ordered the steak and chips and it was a pork steak instead of a beef steak! We visited around 3pm so it was quiet and the service was quick. We asked if there was a happy hour as neighbouring restaurants were advertising theirs and they brought out the sign with the offers - got the impression it was only available if you asked. The outside didn't have any fans or anything though so we were inundated with flies whilst trying to have our dinner which ruined the vibe. Overall, it was very much in line with other tourist places in the area with very average food, but didn't deserve the Google rating it had which drew us in....

This place disserve a gold medal for their food and service! Food specifications were followed to the tee, friendly staff, big plates, great sangria and quick service. All 6 people in the company were very pleased! Paella, mixed beef plate, spicy chicken, fried squid, fries, rice, potatoes and pepper sauce ALL came out perfect. The view of the Belem church in the background brings a little extra nice vibes to the experience.

Will for sure come back here...

Food was quite good, service was great and very friendly, price ended up being very good with a The Fork booking discount.
