Uva Livre — Restaurant in Lisbon

Kindly asked to use the restroom and received a decline saying it is only for the clients. When the owner saw that I was going to post a review for this wrong behavior he aggressively stopped me near the restaurant shouting that they are 5 star place.

Look, if you are a 5 star place you need to start treating people properly, not shouting on them in the street trying to keep your smile on.

If the person request the access to the restroom, maybe he feels bad, you should not block it like that and agressively shout at people and stop them from posting fair review for that.

Uva Livre was a delightful find in Lisbon! We stopped by for a casual evening of charcuterie and cheese, and were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The attention to detail was truly remarkable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially worth mentioning is their sommelier, Justin. Even though we weren't looking for a full wine pairing, he took the time to understand our preferences and recommend the perfect bottle to complement our charcuterie and cheese selection. So, the story goes like this: I was lost in the neighbourhood. On purpose. After basically failing to find a park my friend told me about because I intentionally didn’t use my phone to navigate, I instead took a brief moment to check in with my body. A crisp and refreshing glass of white wine was the need of the hour. I quickly checked my phone and Uva Livre was just 50 m away. As soon as I stepped inside I got welcomed by Justin. The co-owner and Sommelier of the house. Absolute legend.l and phenomenal host. I immediately felt like I am not just a guest, but like a friend that isn’t here for the first time. A skill and gesture not many hosts truly possess. Justin exceeds in it. He didn’t waste much time before bringing 3 bottles of regional white wine and telling me all about each bottle and it’s history. I fell in love with the place, the interior, the wine, the food, the people and the whole experience they provided from the get go. The 5 stars are absolutely deserved.
