Kindly asked to use the restroom and received a decline saying it is only for the clients. When the owner saw that I was going to post a review for this wrong behavior he aggressively stopped me near the restaurant shouting that they are 5 star place.
Look, if you are a 5 star place you need to start treating people properly, not shouting on them in the street trying to keep your smile on.
If the person request the access to the restroom, maybe he feels bad, you should not block it like that and agressively shout at people and stop them from posting fair review for that.
Check what "positive externality" means. Be a better person already, do something about the restroom so that it works well and not deny when people are asking to use it. https://www.britannica.com/topic/positive-externality
Crazy mess, aggressive owner fighting against reviews
Very dissapointed.
As per your answer to my review I have deleted review for the food (my bad) and lowered the total review from 2 stars to 1 star because you are lying in your answer and keep fighting now in reviews. There was no technical problem. The main problem is your attitude. I have no anger, I put the honest review for what happened and you keep finding reasons why it happened hallucinating about why a person would want to post you an honest review on your aggressive behavior. The review is for the place and it is a pity that you make people miserable at your place and...
Read moreUva Livre was a delightful find in Lisbon! We stopped by for a casual evening of charcuterie and cheese, and were thoroughly impressed with the experience. The attention to detail was truly remarkable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, especially worth mentioning is their sommelier, Justin. Even though we weren't looking for a full wine pairing, he took the time to understand our preferences and recommend the perfect bottle to complement our charcuterie and cheese selection. His passion for wine was evident, and his knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was fantastic. The charcuterie was a delicious selection of cured meats, and the cheese board offered a variety of textures and flavors. Everything seemed to be of the highest quality and perfectly paired with Justin's recommended wine. Uva Livre provided a charming and relaxing atmosphere for our evening. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and Justin's expert wine recommendations made it a perfect spot for a casual bite. I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a great wine bar with a knowledgeable...
Read moreSo, the story goes like this: I was lost in the neighbourhood. On purpose. After basically failing to find a park my friend told me about because I intentionally didn’t use my phone to navigate, I instead took a brief moment to check in with my body. A crisp and refreshing glass of white wine was the need of the hour. I quickly checked my phone and Uva Livre was just 50 m away. As soon as I stepped inside I got welcomed by Justin. The co-owner and Sommelier of the house. Absolute legend.l and phenomenal host. I immediately felt like I am not just a guest, but like a friend that isn’t here for the first time. A skill and gesture not many hosts truly possess. Justin exceeds in it. He didn’t waste much time before bringing 3 bottles of regional white wine and telling me all about each bottle and it’s history. I fell in love with the place, the interior, the wine, the food, the people and the whole experience they provided from the get go. The 5 stars are absolutely deserved. Go ahead and pay Justin and his team a visit. I would certainly become a regular if Lisbon would be my home. Thank you...
