I visited several times Vietnam, ate at vietnamese restaurants in London and France, and what an appaling experience we had foodwise, let alone, comparativelly, it's more expensive than other european vietnamese restaurants. The Salad Bo flavorless with almost no beef, the Spring Rolls not crispy and not rolled in proper rice paper, the broth of my Pho Ga was tasteless (no cinamon, no star anis, no ginger, no pepper), and to my taste the rice noodles too cooked). An expensive disappointment, and as there is no evidence of improvement after similar reviews, I"m done with this restaurant. Still a nice small restaurant and...

We had never tried Vietnamese food before we visited Matosinhos last July but our first meal at Vietnamesa was love at first bite. We came back several times during our stay and when we returned to the area this summer, it was the first restaurant we headed for because all we could think about was the delicious dishes we had sampled here. Vietnamesa is still just as wonderful as we remembered and we were warmly welcomed by the delightful staff. We absolutely love the outstanding service, the relaxed ambience, the value for money and the fresh, flavourful food here so we can't wait to come back next time we're in the...

I think it is important to write hinest review to help people understand what is this place. First of all, there is really nothing wrong. Overall it is a nice place. Good service, good atmosphere. But when it comes to food I must say it is not authentic Vietnamese food as they try to position themselves. If you just want to have sort if asian food, it is ok. But it is far, far away from good Vietnamese. Pho was very average, not a good balance, overcooked and too much noodles, few veggies and chewy meat... it is important that they set the right expectations...to me it is just another simple asian...

I love the interior and branding of this little restaurant. The owner must have put a lot of effort in their design and menu. Unfortunately the food I tried fell a bit short. The friend spring rolls were too greasy. They could have dabbed them in towel after frying to reduce the amount of oil. The pho was one dimensional and over salted. I’m missing the flavor of anise in the broth. I’m also missing the herbs and veggies that normally comes when you order pho (mints, basil, cilantro, sprouts.). I hope the food can be improved.

Hands down the best Vietnamese meal I’ve ever had! The ambiance is a perfect 10/10, creating the ideal setting for an unforgettable dining experience. The portion sizes are incredibly generous for the price, and the staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting the ownerce Thru and her partner Francisco, and they are absolutely AMAZING! Their recommended dishes did not disappoint every bite was worth it. Thank you, Vietnamesa, for an incredible experience! 10 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟…….
