A lovely little restaurant steps away from the Nazare beach. João Victor was our server and he was ready to greet us with no pressure while we read the menu. Prices are fair and the dishes were delicious. I was feeling a little tired after a couple of beers and filling meal. I told him I have a lot of driving ahead of me & he understood just what to give me. A double shot of espresso, watered down a bit with a couple of sugars and milk. It did just the trick for my 2 hour late night trip. Got home alert and safely.

The young server has a natural attentiveness with an eagerness to please and impress. My advice for him if he reads this is “listen with your heart as you serve, when you slow things down and listen… you will know what they need from you. Most customers just want a server that truly takes the time to listen, just like a great leaders do and if you do that, people will always come to you for your excellent service” this is the path to true success and prosperity. Popped in today at 1130 as wanted an early lunch before hitting the road and not many places were open. I was encouraged by the Google reviews and really wanted some seafood.

The lady behind the counter spoke English and welcomed us with a big smile. We ordered a grilled fish, Brussels sprouts, Brocolli and thinly sliced potato chips. Everything was served freshly cooked and the fish was grilled to perfection. Vegetables were a tad overcooked for my liking, but we were grateful to have some cooked greens.

Price was very good value compared with what I had been having in Porto and Nazaré, and I'd happily come back for when I'm in nazare again

Tucked further from the beach, what place lacks in views is more than made up with taste, service and value. Very fresh seafood and generous portions. Was shocked by how big the octopus dish was - more than double the size of what I typically see and costs way less than other Resturants by the beach. We ordered the fisherman salad, octopus, grilled sardine, grilled sea bream and grilled sea bass. All were delicious but the standouts were The fisherman salad and the grilled Seabream and Grilled Sea Bass (all three were so fresh and perfectly seasoned).
