Chalet Sushi Olhão — Restaurant in Olhão

I went back because it was good last time. I don't know what happened in the last few years, but the taste and presentation are all bad. They call it Japanese food, but everything is far from it. First of all, the menu is sticky, and that gives the impression that this restaurant is very dirty. The interior and toilets look clean at first glance, but I don't want to see the details just by looking at the menu. I wonder how dirty it is for a restaurant that serves sashimi and sushi. The sashimi lacks freshness and all the food is sweet. It's scary to think how much sugar they use. The sushi rice is sweet like cake, and the octopus salad is inedible. Awful service. Awful food. Awful atmosphere. It’s all you can eat, if you are lucky enough to receive anything you ordered.

I would highly recommend you visit this so called sushi establishment if you desire subpar sushi and even worse customer service.

I’ve been in this alleged restaurant for 2.5 hours, only some of what I’ve ordered has arrived; there are no doubt others who’ve suffered a similar experience as I. This place was chaotic with a lot of people and few staff. The table they gave us was unclean and only partially cleaned. The food was good but not exceptional. They also repeatedly failed to deliver all ordered dishes as they sometimes forget the dishes we ticked on the paper so we have to do it again.
