We arrived at the restaurant at 12:55, it looked like it was closed but when we walked towards the closed door they opened the door. We asked if they are open and they said yes. We then asked if we can sit outside. It seemed like they just opened as the one guy came outside with a menu and also started putting serviettes and spraying the tables down. I asked the waiter if they have gluten free beer and he said he will be back. Only to not return but another guy came outside continuing to spray tables down and putting serviettes on the tables. I then asked him the same question to which he said no, I then asked for a cold drink and he said yes, my husband also asking for his order but he continued with the tables and then also proceeding to take a picture of the people behind is (which arrived after us), completely ignoring us. At this point we got up and left as this regard of utter disrespect towards your patrons is really not acceptable.

I would like to add on that it states everywhere you open at 12:00. I did not realise that it was my duty as a customer to wait for you to finish cleaning and prepping tables because you opened late? We did wait for both your waiters to setup and then when we asked to be served the waiter chose to not serve us but rather the table behind us which again I would like to bring attention to arrived after us. The first waiter as mentioned that we asked a question to said he would be back only to never return to us but also continued with more cleaning and prepping tables. We have no problem in being accommodating if we arrive early to a restaurant opening or a booking we made, which was neither in this case. Your reply also matches your level of service we received so no thank you we would not...

What an incredible experience the Algarvian Brewing Company is.

This is a must visit for any beer lover no matter where you are from in the world.

The owner, Israel, from Mexico, has a passion for his Brewery, his beers and his customers.

There are 12 beers to choose from ranging in ABV from 4.1% to 10.5%.

Ranging from Lagers through IPAs a Weisse Beer a Porter and to a strong Stout amongst others.

You can order large (50cl) Smaller at (23cl) Or A sampler of 4 beers of your choice at (15cl) each, nicely labelled for you too.

I tried 11 in total as, Hazy Beer does not like me.

I liked all 11 for various reasons.

They all have very unique and varying tastes and are all brewed on the premises by Israel himself.

The Imperial Stout takes 6 months to brew.

Here you will find a beer or more that you love and maybe even more too.

The service is exceptional and Israel welcomes you with a warmth and a smile that you will not forget.

Mexican food is served and we had Burrito and tried a few of the Nacho Dishes we were really impressed on the quality and taste. Freshly made on the premises by the Mexican Chef.

Other drinks are available too the Sangria was very good and is freshly made on request.

The Algarvian Brewing Company is the best Micro Brewer I have ever been into, living in the Midlands we have a great choice.

I highly recommend the Algarvian Brewing Company to any beer lover.

Seek it out and enjoy a late afternoon or evening drinking beer of the highest quality.

With some great...

This is just the sort of place I’ve been waiting for since I moved to the Western Algarve. It has a very nice selection of craft beers on tap with a wide range of international influence. I had the Hazy IPA and the Session IPA, both delicious. They have Pilsner, Mexican Lager, Weissen, Porter and Stout just to name a few. The owner and his cohorts are all Mexican. He’s also the brewmaster and comes from a family with a rich beer brewing history. Many of the food ingredients are imported from Mexico as well. And the food is great! It’s a mix of Mexican fare and pub grub. We started with tortilla chips with various sauces that were lovely. Their guacamole was great, but someone has still yet to top mine! Their Pastor Quesadillas were to die for. The wings were fantastic as well. As for the fries… these may be my new favorites, and that’s saying something as there’s no shortage of places with great fries. Run to the Algarvian Brewing Company! This place needs to be a success and it needs to stay! I myself will return many times for more tasty beer and to work my way through the rest...

Forgive my long-winded excitement. I was looking for a local microbrewery and found Algarvian Brewing Company on Maps. To my surprise, their food menu was Mexican, and they had IPAs and Stouts. I was beyond excited, because my wife and I retired to the Algarve 9 months ago from Texas, and we have been seriously missing Mexican food and a good microbrew. We were not disappointed! The tacos are authentic and delicious. I had the Pastor and my wife had the Bistec. The corn tortillas are made in house. The spices come from Mexico. The owner is from Mexico. Win, Win, Win! The sauces are great too! We visited with Israel, the owner for a good while. He comes from a family of brewers and is a Master Brewer himself. I had the Hazy IPA and American IPA. Both were unique and excellent! The outdoor seating is comfortable and you can mingle inside with the brewing equipment. A fantastic spot! Portimão is lucky to have this fine establishment! A little bit of Mexico in Portugal. It doesn’t get any better than this!!
