Big Red's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Portimão

Just back from Big Reds, Restaurant was very busy, Nick the owner said it probably be an hour before we would get served but we were welcome to stay and have a drink if we didnt mind the wait. Talked it over with the wife and as we were in no hurry, decided to stay. And have to say, it was one of the best decisions we have made, just had one of the best meals, we have ever had in Alvor I had sauteed mushrooms in a blue cheese sauce in filo pastry followed by a seafood bake, both were absolutely superb , the wife had Oriental noodles followed by what she described as the best creme brulee that shes ever had, in the fifteen years, we have been coming to Alvor, given the fact, that the restaurant was really busy, with people being turned away, the food was piping hot , and delicious, .well done to all concerned, you guys knocked ir outta the ballpark tonite.Cant wait...

We had made a booking for 9 people on 29th September but when we arrived we was told no booking had been made although we could see our booking in the book, then we was seated and given only food menu. The waiter came over to ask if we wanted drinks, we said we wasn't given a drinks menu he then went to get drink menu and brought only 1 for a group of 9 people, anyways we shared the menu when he came back we attempted to order cocktails and was told we can't because restraunt was busy and it would take too much time so we said OK can we just order our food then and was told no we can't they need to stagger orders or kitchen will have to many orders, at this point we decided to leave as the service wasn't great and it wasn't even packed, but orders were being taken from...
