Just back from Big Reds, Restaurant was very busy, Nick the owner said it probably be an hour before we would get served but we were welcome to stay and have a drink if we didnt mind the wait. Talked it over with the wife and as we were in no hurry, decided to stay. And have to say, it was one of the best decisions we have made, just had one of the best meals, we have ever had in Alvor I had sauteed mushrooms in a blue cheese sauce in filo pastry followed by a seafood bake, both were absolutely superb , the wife had Oriental noodles followed by what she described as the best creme brulee that shes ever had, in the fifteen years, we have been coming to Alvor, given the fact, that the restaurant was really busy, with people being turned away, the food was piping hot , and delicious, .well done to all concerned, you guys knocked ir outta the ballpark tonite.Cant wait...
