I'm gonna be honest, few things I could of said to the waiter but I didn't. Let's start....great looking little restaurant. We arrived to the town and was looking forward to the food for a few days.
Attentive waiter but the starter tray was put right in front of us immediately and almost a guilt trip into buying it.....we bought it! No direct mention of price, was a very snide move.
Flies everywhere around our food (we did sit in the outdoor area and yes we could of asked to sit inside). No thought of a thin mesh fly net and zapper UV lights. I did notice the whole of the restaurant was open from front all the way into the kitchen then into the open back street area. That's pretty awful I must say. The toilet washroom area also had a number of flies buzzing around (right next to the open kitchen).
The waiter had no idea that the main courses all had chips and side salad. I needn't of ordered a side salad if I'd of known.
A lot of things could of been said to staff throughout the whole of our stay but why should of we of had anything to say in the first place?
Not giving it a 1 out of 5 because I must say they have tried but 0 out of 5 that we'll be ever...

Edit: Since the owner thinks that it did not originate from their restaurant - it was the only food we had that we shared all day and the last meal we had before falling ill a couple hours later. As we were driving most of the day we didn’t have any other meals (other than breakfast we didn’t share). There is literally no other cause for this and it made us lose more than a whole day off of our vacation. Saving face by denying and saying we are mindfully accusing you of something like this is just unprofessional. Hopefully nobody else has to experience this at this...
Read moreThe food was good and our group of 6 all agreed. The service and attention of the kitchen staff was excellent. Our daughter is coeliac and can not have gluten. Some restaurants do not realise that frozen chips can have flour on them so think they are gluten free. Not only did the kitchen know and acknowledge it but then prepped different potatoes in a different pan to make sure there was no cross contamination from the oil that was normally used for the chips. They could not have done...
