Absolutely awful.
The food was disgusting and didn’t taste any better than something I could have made at home. My partner and I chose this restaurant as it’s the highest rated in the local area and when we arrive we were baffled by the lack of service provided. The staff didn’t seem interested in serving us and to be frank the restaurant wasn’t busy at all so they couldn’t have used that as an excuse for the lack of service.
I ordered the Broccoli & Salmon Tagliatelle and was disappointed with the lack of salmon as there was next to none in the dish. The menu claimed this was ‘Fresh Pasta’ but the Tagliatelle was borderline inedible. The broccoli was rock hard as well. I’m not going to make any comments about the garlic bread because that thing was the furthest thing removed from garlic bread I’ve ever seen.
The person I felt most sorry for was my partner who looked absolutely gorgeous that night but this place didn’t do the amount of effort she went to justice.
Overall a very bad experience and would put this place down as the worst restaurant we visited in...
Read moreStopped at portmia on our way back from a road trip , lots of eateries but we decided on pinocchio which was a good decision, I had the anti pasti starter ...again a good choice as its was plentiful great blue cheese and the surprise of what looked like home made beniets which were spot on the meats were amazing as to was the olives , followed by the home made ravioli with muscles, and as a chef of 32 years I can assure you the home made pasta section on the menu was exactly that, home made . 4 of us ate two courses and cocktails and the bill was only 86 euro ...guys with the quality you can put your prices up as I'd be happy paying 100euro...

As an Italian and Italian-American, I pride myself in knowing good Italian food when I taste it (I grew up on mamma and nonna's home made pasta). This place is owned and run by Italians. I've been there a few times now, and was wowed each time. They didn't hesitate to change the sauce to Bolognese for my delicious home made gnocchi.
