Pote Cheio - Pizza & Bar — Restaurant in Portimão

Don't waste your time and money here and go somewhere else... The only good thing about our visit was the waitress who was very friendly and gave her best regarding the unbearable situation the management put her in. It took over 2h to get a simple order which we then took for take away. The kitchen apparently is too small for the number of seats. Manager came once and said sth along the lines of "upps it is taking a bit longer today" but was more than happy to not give any apology in the end while getting our payment. The food is ok/good but too expensive for what it is, especially regarding the portion sizes. Sangria looked good but was very watered down/lots of lemonade and ice, also not worth the money. Summary: go out two times somewhere else for the same money and you'll still habe two dishes faster than one...

This restaurant is hard to review, I think you could probably go several times and get a different experience each time. It was neither good nor bad the food was ok the service we mediocre one of the biggest problems was the staff it was one of those restaurants where you felt you were interrupting them and there demeanour was it is just a job not my restaurant I will serve you and go home. It is a shame as it is a great location in the middle of Portimao and it has 3 floors. I can’t recommend but neither can I say don’t go. If you go don’t expect too much and you may well be surprised. The food was ok my wife had pasta and I had pizza ( pizza was very thin crust). I think the price again was pretty average for a dine in meal...

It's always a pleasure to eat at Pote Cheio! The pizza's are fantastic, love the ultra fine dough, that cracks at each bite, with lovely tomato base, savory cheese and whatever ingredients you chose. The lasagna is super tasty and generous. We didn't try the pastas but I can bet they are filled with very good ingredients and taste! The staff is very attentive to your needs and all educated and friendly. Good choice of drinks.
