Read moreGreat interior with a super friendly staff. Food was good but had a few issues. First, the staff was great. Although they were busy, I still felt I was getting lots of attention. . One thing that was a bit off putting was that I was asked to leave a review and mention people by name. This usually happens when there is pressure from management. A restaurant is a team and no one should be pandering for reviews. . As for the food. -Couvert was good. I loved the different bread chooses. Some tables also had homemade chips. I did not and I don’t know why. . -salada mistar was a large portion and I took 1/2 home. Typical salad but it was dressed properly. . -ossobuco decent flavor, but….it just wasn’t cooked long enough. Ossobuco should be slow cooked / braised until the meat is falling off the bone. This was not. Usually white wine is used but this tasted like red wine which made the sauce much heavier than it should have been. It was a big portion and I brought most of it home as I will slow braise it for another hour tomorrow to finish the dish. . -lemon meringue tart…This was NOT. No lemon curd. No soft french meringue. No crust. What I got was lemon sorbet with an Italian meringue crust. Rename this dish to accurately reflect what is being served. . Overall, the food was much better than many Portuguese restaurants, but not quite at an international...

Booked a table for a party of 13, including 4 children, above the age of four.
Arrived on time. Waited 1h20mins for the first dish to arrive (one if the kids)...another 6/7 mins for two other kid's dishes (not from the kids menu) and then a solid 10mins for everyone else's food. Desserts are also appealing to the eye and taste buds.
Serving size is reasonable. Taste and quality makes up for it for sure. Prices are as expected for the type of restaurant. Pleasant environment, very friendly staff, nice decor, confortable, etc.
Downhill begins when we are still sipping at our expresso and the waiter brings out the ATM/payment and check. After being told we were not yet finished, a few minutes later another waiter comes back with another ATM, the bill and kindly invites us to leave.
Yes, I do realize there may be another party waiting to be seated. However, I was not told of this when seated/arrived. Worse than that, had we not waited over 1h30mins to eat our main dish, very likely we would've been out th door earlier and not have to be "kicked out".
Shameful from our perspective. And yes, we also complained...
