Cais Nobre Bar & Cocktails — Restaurant in Porto

Wonderful experience! We initially sat down outside to enjoy the sunset. We were greeted by one of the wait staff immediately, Luca. He gave us cucumber, lemon, infused water, and some potato chips, which were refilled every time we finish them off. We ended up going inside to have our drinks due to the weather. The decor is beautiful with an intimate, cozy feel.

The drinks menu comes in a unique leather binder, with not only a description of the drink, but some history about the Explorer that the drink is named after. My partner and I tried six of their cocktails and two of their appetizers.

All of the drinks were beautiful presented, each having only one large ice cube so as not to dilute the drink quickly. First I tried #4, O Colombo, and loved the raspberry flavor with foam on top. #8, Um Brinde was next with a delicious tangy flavor. I especially loved the fresh basil leaf on top which gave it a wonderful scent. Lastly, I had # 6, Circunavegacao which comes in a champagne flute with a thin layer of white chocolate melted onto the outside of the glass. This was the sweetest of the 3 drinks but not too sweet and quite delicious. My partner prefers zesty, sour drinks, and enjoyed #5, O Vasco, #2 A Esperanca and #3 A Descoberta.

We also tried two of their appetizers. The crispy mushrooms were coated in a thin layer of breadcrumb and accompanied with a slightly sweet, sour cream. Even though the mushrooms are fried, they tasted light and cooked perfectly. We also tried the five spice ribs, which...

Amazing cocktail bar .few minutes walk from the hotel we were staying in , we visited in the evening midweek and there was a really chilled and relaxed vibe with different music playing inside and outside , the bar itself is beautiful with lots of attention to detail especially on the walls and stairs

The staff are very knowledgeable about cocktails and can happily talk through the selection and offer twists on your favourites especially Luis and Moses.

The cocktail makers (mixologists) are very very good and provided us with probably the best Moscow mules ( beautiful lime foam on top) and mojitos I have ever tasted ,not just in Portugal. muito obrigado !!

I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely bar with very pleasant and helpful staff and the cocktails are very reasonably priced.
