If you passed by this place casually - you would likely skip it completely - thinking it's just another average kebab shop or hole in the wall. I am here to tell you that would be a big Mistake!
The food is incredible and authentic - the chef if from Amritsar - widely considered in India to have the most delicious variety of dishes (which many cities attempt to replicate - and generally fail).
A must try is the Amritsari Kulcha - which comes with 4 side dishes and is a complete meal within itself. Crunchy, flaky with some beautiful herbs and spices mixed right into the dough and roasted and sprinkled on top. The "channa" that comes with the bread is a revelation in itself - perfectly seasoned and beautifully balanced. A great hit of protein carried on a carb base that will give you the 30gms or so you need in a serving. We also could not resist getting the "dahi bhalla" - totally home made and served just like in India.
Do yourself a favour (especially if you are a vegetarian) and plan a stop in this lovely little place. Ask for Gaurav and experience true Indian hospitality. Posting a pic of my family - about to dig into the kulcha - note they could not...

Read moreI will always give an honest review. The food is good quality, the taste is decent.l but the naan is ok. 3 stars, purely as this is very expensive for price-portion ratio and takes off the extra stars. Naan at over €3 is great and profitable for business but an unfair price for what it is, 1 star. Rice €4 euro also too expensive, but tastes good. The curry gravy was very good, great flavour and made well, 5 star. The lack of chicken for the price is the problem, 6 small to medium size pieces for the price is more expensive than in Vienna and the UK. I will say, the chicken was cooked very well, but for Portugal this price is aimed at tourism and not for the locals as it is simply too much money. Please note that rice is not included in the price for a curry and is another great business move for profit as it is very expensive for what is a basic staple food. I applaud from a business model this is very good, but from a customer perspective not so good. Overall, the food is great but not for the price. On my travels, the most expensive I have ate. The delivery was fast and the...
