Walked by during lunch time - saw a crowd and the menu looked good so decided to give it a shot. No regrets! They were super busy but we still got served our food fairly quickly. Ordered the special francesinha , grilled squid, haka fillets. All were excellent and so tasty. The first meal we had that we all enjoyed thoroughly. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. Enjoyed the meal so much we came back again for our last dinner in Porto :) would recommend this place and hope the family continues to do well!

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 💖This was truly one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had! The fish was incredibly fresh and seasoned to perfection—the spices were balanced, savory, and complemented the fish beautifully without overpowering it. The staff were also wonderfully hospitable, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Porto! Just a heads-up: it can get quite busy during dinner, even after 9 pm, so arriving a bit early is a good idea.

This place is pretty cozy and has a good price/quality menu. We had the squid and the turkey steak (the latter with fries and an omelette) and it tasted good and was a good portion. The hostess speaks very good English, handy for us non-Portuguese speaking people. After enjoying the main dish, we closed off with a chocolate mousse. It is home made and tasted good! If you also fancy some football/soccer, they have a TV on (with sports).

Overrated, busy, and the food is mediocre. The old waitresses are impolite and don't even look at you in the eyes, let alone saying thanks. (Edit after owner review: the owner doesn't deny what happend nor make apologies, simply saying "don't leave your homeland then". That tells a lot about the owner - I guess then such behavior is a norm in Portugal? The owner said "don't leave your homeland", but the owner should actually say "don't come to Portugal because we are rude people." I had no prolem travelling other countries with respsectful waitresses. The owner also said "you would have a mother too". My mother is never like the rude waitresses there, and she taught me not to treat...

I want people to know this restaurant! I went there during lunch time. It seemed that lots of locals were dining there. I ordered the grilled squid, daily soup(veggie), house wine, flan, and espresso. I accidently ordered a bottle of house wine because the price was, to me, maybe a large glass. What I got was a newly opened bottle of house wine. I asked one of the servers if I could take the remaining home. The server bottle it again when I finished with my lunch and put the bottle in a bag for me to carry home. Highly recommend grilled squid and soup! I liked the dessert as well! Highly highly recommend! Thanks for great food and service! Will...

FAB Locals restaurant off beaten track so a bit quieter.

I had fresh grilled dourada with new potatoes and cabbage and my fiance had the local speciality of sausage egg, home made chips and rice! Mine was one of the specials if the day which i tend to go for and recommend. We also had 3 cokes a glass of wine and a cappuccino all for 27 euros.

Great local honest food, service and value. We chilled outside. It was a real find just a couple of mins walk from the busiest shopping street in Porto. We had a late lunch 2 pm ish then hit the shops just down the slope. I saw they close for the siesta or did today and...
