I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shawarma Piri-Piri Halal Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chicken biryani and an Indian chai, and both were exceptional.
The chicken biryani was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly authentic. As someone who has tried biryani all across Europe, I can confidently say that this was something special. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, reminding me of the true Hyderabadi style. It had been a long time since I enjoyed a biryani of this caliber, and it brought back fond memories of traditional Indian cooking.
The Indian chai was the perfect complement to the meal—warm, aromatic, and soothing. It’s clear that the restaurant takes great care in preparing each dish with authenticity and love.
What added to the charm of this place was the interaction with the owners, an Indian couple who were very kind and friendly. Their warmth and hospitality made the dining experience even more enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to support a business where the owners are passionate about what they do and genuinely care about their customers.
Overall, I highly recommend Shawarma Piri-Piri Halal Restaurant to anyone who loves good food, especially those craving authentic Indian cuisine. This place is a hidden gem, and I look forward to returning for more...
Read moreThis place is in the basement of the mall, so it's a bit hard to find, which is probably doing them a disservice. Because this place is IT! Trust me when I say this as an Indian: they are absolutely delicious. The owners are from Hyderabad, and everything is just like back home.
We ordered chicken karahi, combo with chicken curry, chicken fried rice, samosa, and chai. Everything was absolutely delicious, and like how my mum would make them; the chicken karahi was the highlight and just like how they make it in dawats in India. So authentic! Skip the shawarma stuff and go for the Indian food, and you...
Read moreThis small restaurant is in the basement of Brasilia Shopping mall adjacent to the Boa Vista circle. I had the grilled chicken sharma and my wife had the falafel pita. There are white Sharma and chilli sauces to accompany the sandwiches. I enjoyed the Sharma, good chicken and not too bready. My wife did not like the french fries in her falafel but otherwise enjoyed her food. The owner is a nice person and his mother tongue is English. The restaurant conveniently has a hand washing sink as the restrooms are up a floor at the far end of the mall. Our meal was filling and a great value. We...
