The sushi is very fresh, with a great wine selection and flavorful appetizers. We got the chicken gyozas and the sushi combo to try everything. Although at the beginning we started off on the wrong foot, when we tried to ask if we could sit at a different table (it’s part of an outdoor food court area with other restaurants in the same place) and the waiter told us he would only serve us in their tables, and it would take a long time to get takeout. This is a sushi place within an outdoor food court in the old Ribiera Grande farmer's market. The sushi is freshly made with the best ingredients, well presented with professional and knowledgeable service. We had Wakame Salad, gyozas, and shared a sushi mix which was fantastic. It makes total sense for the Azores to have good sushi given the fresh fish here but this was absolutely as good as I've had anywhere. Really excellent value for this quality too. 100%...

Saw great reviews; so we decided to try it out. One large party had reservations that took all but 1 table; we just so happen to get seated immediately. The Hotroll (pictured) was incredible.
