My impressions are mixed. Good prices, great experience with trying the local food that you cook on the stone (Picanha). On the other hand, the guy who's probably the owner looked like he's doing this job for the first time. He seated us at the table, then when he was about to bring the food, he realized the table is too small so he moved us to another table. There was some vegetables on my chair so I changed it for another one.
Picanha are beef slices cooked on a stone. He forgot to bring me cutlery and a plate so when I cooked the first slices, I didn't know if it's alright to eat this by hands right from the stone or what's the right process with it. When we finished the food, the meat residues were burning on the stone for the next 20 minutes. It was quite uncomfortable sitting right next to it and there was no way to stop the fire. When I asked to pay, he brought me the change in the palm of is hand and started counting the coins in front of me in order to prove the change is correct. It was just embarrassing. And that pickled pepper sauce was delightful! The Francesinha is no mere gimmick sandwich, piled high with meat and drenched with cheese and sauce. It actually works as a coherent food item that, depite initial appearances, is not TOO much food. The fries here are perfect for scooping that last, Ill-advised bit of sauce from your plate....
