What a meal! Excellent service, fresh and hearty fare made with care, and delightful ambiance.
To start, we ordered the pesto burrata and truffle focaccia. We were also given complementary bread and olive oil. My mom ordered the house red wine, and she said it was divine. The burrata was light and fresh, and the pesto was clearly made with care. The focaccia was spongey and crispy on the bottom, and the truffle flavor was strong but not overpowering. The house bread was fluffy and warm, and I loved the tangy taste of the olive oil.
For our entrees, we ordered the lasagna, pesto gnocchi, and pomodoro. The homemade pasta had great texture across the board, and it was perfectly cooked. All three of us enjoyed our entrees, and with the generous portions, we were left with leftovers for tomorrow.
The star of the show was the tiramisu! It was incredibly delicate and melted in your mouth. It almost felt like a parfait. Truly the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. If you get one thing here, get this.

Read moreMy wife Anne and I had a great dining experience at this wonderful family run Italian restaurant. The staff were responsive and attentive but not intrusive. Our food, two bruschettas, a salmon ravioli and a traditional carbonara, were exquisite. The pasta was al dente and the carbonara was rich and creamy - just as it should be. My wife’s Salmon ravioli was tasty with an unusual addition - a teriyaki drizzle - which complemented the dish perfectly. Our desserts, a creamy lemon meringue and a tiramisu, completed our excellent meal. The house wine was very drinkable and a good price. The due fratelli are two brothers - one makes the fresh pasta every day and the other brother cooks it to perfection. We met the brothers who were charming and clearly dedicated to providing wonderfully cooked Italian food at an economic price. We heartily recommend this restaurant which is just behind the Luna hotel. Try it - you won’t be...
Read moreA great Italian restaurant, worthy of the claim to be Italian. I can be quite picky especially when it comes to Italian food and this place certainly exceeded my expectations. A good selection for veggies and meat eaters alike.
Lots of choice on the wine list of all prices and both local, Italian and other worldly wines. We went with a Valpolicella. Flavoursome without overpowering the food.
The Bruschetta Napolitana was very tasty, my personal taste is for more garlic but the tomatoes and basil were very fresh and full of flavour. The Mushroom and Black Truffle tagliatelle was to die for. Everything was spot on. I contemplated licking the bowl clean :) All finished with a nice pick me up of tiramisù.
The service was attentive without being overly so. We had a chat with the owner/chef at the end, it's always nice to pass on thanks for a meal...
