NEVER MORE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD
I used to be a regular costumer at Kodashi and last two time were bad but this last time we were treated in a very unprofessional way. We booked a table for 9:30pm. Table was only available was almost 10pm we seat and we explained that one of us was celiac and we wanted 4 degustation menu gluten free. After the starters they brought to the table two sets of gluten pieces of sushi that we sent them back when was not asked they came back again with them saying that was not fair that because one of us couldn’t eat them the others wouldn’t eat them when we explained in the first place that was to avoid cross contamination. Anyway the main course only came to the table around 10:45pm so we really started eating our sushi 1:15 after the original table booking but that was the minimum of our problems… after we were still eating our first round they came to let us know that the kitchen was closing when we were eating for about 30 minutes.
The worst was when we were finishing and it was missing just one more piece of sushi for each one of us and they came to ask if we wanted coffees. My wife explained that we were still finishing our sushi and the lady just ignored her I had to repeat saying that yes we will want coffees but has she could see we were just finishing our sushi… seconds later another lady came to say that they were going to turn off the coffee machine and I had to repeat it again… and seconds later the lady that is responsible for the restaurant she came super aggressive saying that is late and that we need to say if we wanted the coffees because they wanted to close. At that point I explained a last time but already upset and exposing to her that we had to wait 30 minutes for our table plus to start eating more than one hour so she could wait few more minutes to take our coffees and she show a even worst behaviour towards me and my guests showing that customer service is the last important thing in that place. If you want to eat good sushi this restaurant is been better and the way they treat you when we spend basically 130 euros for 4 persons shows that is not a place to repeat even if I was in the past a regular customer and I came back even after the papa roach issue they had in the past.. this is why...

Not only for the food itself, which is wonderful (there is this fusion menu that I love, which they mix the sad niguiris and sushi with tropical fruits such as avocado, mango, but also passion fruit, and red berries. They also use local fish. Their drinking selection fits pretty well with the food they serve) but also their personnel are so easy-going, professional, dedicated. Read moreGreat sushi restaurant, the staff are very welcoming and kind, the menu is vast and there is an incredible all you can eat/degustation option where the main dish is a beautifully presented sushi boat with all sorts of maki, sushi, sashimi... The staff also ask what you would rather not have and adapt the dishes, and once you've finished the degustation, you can reorder your favourite dishes with no extra fee, very enjoyable experience and an enjoyable version of all you can eat, portuguese style.
