Simple fresh and good sums up this restaurant. To the right is the bar and behind door No. 2 is the restaurant side. A causal atmosphere that turns out really good seafood. We enjoyed the Mariscada platter for 2 but it actually fed 5 of us with plenty to spare. The shrimp, lobster, and crab pate were all on point. They served the table “pressurized” wine. Not kidding, it translates to English that way. Which was really good and appropriate for the dish served. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. Local restaurant with tapas and also proper foods like seafood, veal, pork, beef and etc. I love the seafood stew and if I could give them more than 5 start I would. I was there for 25 December when almost all restaurant are closed. For dessert I ordered Serradura and it was delicious. The gentleman who served us was very nice and friendly. Even though he understood English little he explained us the food menu and helped us to select the food. Highly recommend...

Na passada segunda-feira, às 21,30 horas cheguei à porta da marisqueira, acompanhado da minha esposa. Dois funcionários da casa que estavam no exterior do estabelecimento, a proceder a arrumações, apressaram-se a dizer que já não nos podiam servir e apressaram-se a fechar a porta. Na porta o horário informava que a hora de fecho era às 22,00 horas. É lamentável que nos dias que correm, e com tanta gente, sobretudo da restauração, a lamentar-se que estão em crise, haja quem se permita a tamanha estupidez. Depois de ter chegado a Tomar, no fim de um longo dia de trabalho, recusarem-me que pelo menos comesse uma refeição rápida, atendendo a hora tardia, é no mínimo uma atitude imperdoável. Podem ficar cientes que jamais me abeirarei do vosso estabelecimento. p.s.: Depois desta situação desagradável, e já a bater as 22,00 horas, abeirei-me do restaurante Chez Gilbert e perguntei se era possível jantar. De facto jantámos excelentemente, com toda a paz, e desde logo nos disseram para comermos sem qualquer preocupação com a hora. Ganharam um cliente para a vida.
