O Paço exclusive accommodation — Hotel in Tomar

Our experience at O Paco Hotel in Tomar was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, thanks to the amazing host, Sonia. The level of service provided at this hotel is absolutely outstanding, surpassing even that of higher-ranked hotels in Portugal.

Everything about the hotel is top-notch: the location, the rooms, and even the delightful scent in the lobby. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable without any of the intrusive service often found in US hotels.

The breakfast was great, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The hotel's location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from all the most interesting sights in town.

We stayed in the superior room with pool view, which featured a fantastic balcony/terrace with a view of the castle. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Arrived in Tomar and found the accommodation we had booked was pretty grotty we had to find somewhere to stay at short notice. |Absolutely delighted we found this hotel which had availability and was central in Tomar.|Booking direct they bettered the rate we could find online and when we asked to see the room before saying yes it was no problem and we were told with confidence that we would like the room. |We certainly did. |It had plenty of space and was finished to a very high standard and looked like it had been renovated recently. Had a kitchen area on our floor which was handy and a fridge and nespresso machine in the room.|The crowning glory was the big terrace which had electric blinds which, when raised, revealed a fantastic view of the Templar Castle and convent - a real Wow!|Would thoroughly recommend this place - superb and host...

We stayed there for only one night (two rooms for two couples with quite different tastes) but we all decided that this was one of the best hotels we visited during our 10-day trip all over Portugal. All the excellent reviews of this hotel are right! The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our balcony had a stunning view of Tomar and the castle. The location is only steps away from the town's center and all curiosities. The only thing that we found disappointing was the breakfast - there was really minimum variety of choice (e.g. they only prepared fried or scrambled eggs and bacon, no other way of cooking eggs), plus our eggs were extremely salty. Compared to the overall excellent quality of all other hotel services, we were expecting a lot more. But overall, I highly recommend the place and would definitely...
