Hotel Kamanga — Hotel in Tomar

We choose this Hotel based on its location and the price per room, but at the end we had the feeling that we had paid too much for the room quality and the facilities offered.||As this hotel its like an apartment building, eah door is a room and ours was right next to the stairs. It's not that much sound isolated and it was quite cold.||The room was not so clean as it was expected (there were some breadcrumbs on the sofa, hair on the bathroom floor) and it was quite cold since the windows it's for the rear of the building, right next to a corner with the adjacent building.||The breakfast was good, but not continental as claimed. There were no eggs available, the bread was already roasted (and cold) and there were no lactose free options.||It's a nice hotel to stay just one night, no...

I had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Kamanga! The staff was very kind, helpful and hospitable. They explained a lot about the city of Tomar and the things I could do during my stay. I booked a single room, which usually means a small room in the back of the building. But not here! My room had ample space and a bed large enough for two people. Hot water with good water pressure, wifi worked excellent, and a delicious breakfast. But the best part was the view from my room. Overlooking the town and the convent, it was spectacular day and night! Hotel Kamanga is also very close to the old town and surrounded by bars and restaurants. There's also a mini preço around the corner in case you want a snack in the room. I can highly recommend staying here and can't wait...

In line with other TA Reviewers we found this hotel to be very clean, within a short walk of all the sites and amenities in Tomar and the staff were excellent. The inclusive breakfast comprised of cereals, mixed breads, meat and cheese. Fresh fruit was available. Plenty of it and good strong coffee.||On street parking was free and not a problem, plenty if places, even at weekends.
