Pastelaria & Geladaria Pic Nic 3 — Restaurant in Tomar

I'm on vacation with my friends. On our trip to visit Tomar, we stopped at this café. I had to translate the menu to my friends, and that's ok, but what is not ok is that they got angry because we took more time to choose. They were out of a lot of things. We could clearly see that they were annoyed by the presence of tourists. The food was bad, with no taste. We don't recommend this place. They served us, with violent gestures, and the long face all along. I'm ashamed as a portuguese, when I get to meet people like the boss of this café who give a bad impression of our legendary...

Very disappointing experience when we visited. There was not a large queue and plenty of seating available, but we were ignored by the counter staff (maybe because we were British but trying hard with our limited portuguese) and we felt unwelcome. After 15 minutes of being served around (and locals/ friends being greeted and served from behind us) we gave up and went to a friendlier smaller establishment. The location on a busy covered walkway offers the promise of a good visit, but maybe only if...

Absolutely lovely! One of the best cafes in Tomar. It's well decorated, the employees are very nice, it has music, great sofas and cushioned chairs. Its located on the main avenue and near the shopping center and many other stores. If you come to Tomar, you can't leave without trying one of "Pic Nic" 's crêpes !!...
