Restaurante D. Bacalhau — Restaurant in Tomar

The Bacalhau is a Typical Portuguese workers restaurant. I don't use the term workers restaurant with any negative connotation. The food is good and plentiful, be prepared to leave the table with a bursting feeling around the mid waist. All daily meals are served within minutes because they are most probably prepared in bulk, however never have I been served an over boiled vegetable or cold food at the Bacalhau. A group of eight, food was good, service was lacking. Answered questions about options with inappropriate loud comments. When we asked for the bill, they said they were having lunch (and they were all eating in the main room) and we had to wait until they were finished, so, we sat back down for half an hour watching them eat until one of them would get up. Fui el 8 /7/2023. La pasamos horrible. Nos atendieron dos personas amables. Uno quien nos organizo la mesa y la que nos tomo el pedido. Nos trajeron el vino sin copas. Luego.... despues de esperar 15 minutos otra persona nos trajo dos vasos, que tuvimos suerte que eran de vidrio....pedimos dos sopas y un plato de pollo y una bifanha portuguesa. La sopa tardo 1hora. Despues de que le insisti por que teniamos hambre.... El plato principal, nunca llego! Despues de 1:35 nos fuimos. Es un lugar normal, que parece que no contrata personal para la cocina. Cuando salimos, vimos que tenian dos personas en la cocina. El lugar tiene capacidad de minimo 100 personas. Una verguenza! La perdona que esta encargada, deberia de buscar...
