When I walked into the coffee shop, I was initially unsure about the seating arrangement. I noticed a male staff member guiding customers to their seats, so I approached him. He asked if I was drinking there, and when I confirmed, he gave me the option to sit inside or outside. I chose a table outside but still thought I needed to get my drink at the counter, as is typical in many US cafes.

I walked up to the counter, where another male staff member was helping a customer. He seemed cheerful and was smiling as they completed their purchase. When it was my turn, I asked for a latte. He asked if it was for takeaway, and I said it was for here. His tone and expression suggested that I might have annoyed him when he explained that there was table service.

I returned to my table, and a female staff member came to take my order. She wasn't very friendly and simply asked, "That's it?" after I placed my order. The coffee arrived promptly and was the first place I visited that served a drink with coffee art, a heart shape in this case. The coffee tasted good.

As I sat there observing the staff and other customers, it was clear that the shop catered primarily to tourists, given its location in a busy tourist area and the higher prices. Overall, the experience wasn't particularly special, aside from the coffee art and spending a few extra euros on my drink. Male staff member who seated me, made some small talk, asking where I was from and informing me not to miss the fireworks celebration for the Festival of Saint John. It was a short conversation, but it didn’t particularly feel genuine, more like part...

15 mins waited for ordering take away a cup of over priced coffee and 2 over price pastel de natas (1.7€ each) and not sophisticate staffs. The coffee shop is average Morden wooden floor, when I arrived to the coffee shop there were 4 tables occupied (one table about to pay, one was finishing, 2 tables receiving their order) but 7-8 tables are available. I walked in and a male staff with glasses and very short hairs approached asked what do I want I replied “can I get a cup of latter with two pastel de natas for take away please” he then went to check pastel de nata in kitchen then come back to me “ok I will come back to you” (meanwhile there were 2 staffs behind the till and two on the floor which one is standing just look around. After 5 mins I walked to the till because the guy never come back. Ordered my take away and wait another 10 mins. I told the staff with glasses that “do you mind to make it faster for me because I am I rush please” he looked right back to me and “you are in a rush ? But we have to serve people before me ! We are doing slowly like this you are rude to tell us” I replied “I just give a feedback so you can improve the service nothing much” then he was aggressive to me until I got a cup of coffee and two pastel de nata which been sitting in a paper bag on a counter for 5 mins since I ordered and and receive a cup of coffee 10 mins after I ordered but only one table with 2 customers in the cafe. Good coffee, good pastel de nata but if you can wait you will enjoy...

We come here on Saturday around 12:15 - there was about 20 minutes wait to get a table. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our orders… so, we finally get to eat after an hour.

The servers were friendly, but I think they are understaffed and unprepared for a full house. A few times, they brought us things that we didn’t order - they were supposed to go to a different table. And towards the end of our meal, they asked us if they can take the plates because they’re running out of plates. I think it was hilarious.

Food review: Chicken sticks were quite dry. The breading was so thick - it was hard and crunchy instead of crispy. It also lacks of seasoning. Loaded fries. The fries were undercooked and unsalted. Salmon bagel (not in pic) - the salmon itself was pretty good. The bagel is disappointing - it’s soft and not firmness of what a bagel should be like. It should be called bread. Florentine (not in pic) - it was very good! The poached egg was beautifully done. The Hollandaise sauce was delicious. We recommend this. Pancake with red fruit and mascarpone- this one is delicious. BUT, if you they didn’t run out of plates, this usually will be served on a bigger plate and it will be prettier as usual 🤣

The coffee was good. I love the cold brew - it’s very smooth.

So… it’s probably better if you come here on weekdays early in the morning when they aren’t so busy -...

Amazing place. Staff are super kind and helpful. Coffee sensational. What more do you want? I did the tasting menu and got a croissant, this only cost €12 I believe which is sensational value. I tipped up to €15 as the gentleman serving me was extremely knowledgeable and happy to talk coffee. Tasting menu consisted of 4 drinks, pictured below. The first was a filter and was incredible! Floral notes, close to a tea which is something I had not experienced before. Cappuccino and espresso followed, all different varieties and from different places, again so tasty. The coffee lemonade was surprisingly yummy, as someone who doesnt normally like these things i was shocked! Overall, this place deserves to be one of the best in the world, just wow. Incredible experience, even better value! Will be returning.
