I wish I could give a zero star rating. I don’t usually post such negative posts, but our experience today was shocking. We arrived at the restaurant and asked for a table for 5 people. There were 2 x 4 seater tables available and open. The lady on duty told us to wait 2min so that she could sort out the table for us. After almost 10min had passed, the lady was continuing to serve other guests while we waited at the door. I asked her why it was taking so long to seat us(I didn’t think I was rude or abrupt, I was speaking in my broken Portuguese, and with my accent I am clearly not a first language speaker), and she lost it. She advised me that not only was there not a table available at that point in time, but in fact we would not be getting a table at all today. We then went and stood out front on the sidewalk while we contemplated our next move. She then came out to tell us not to bother waiting there, as we would not be getting a table and we should move along. Luckily the place next door had better food and was cheaper. And service was great. Still not sure why this lady reacted the way she did. It...

There are a ton of restaurants there, but they tend to be touristy, overpriced, and low quality. We saw the good Google Reviews for this restaurant, and we were not disappointed.
They serve the classic Portuguese dishes. We got the grilled fish and the octopus. Both were delicious. The sausage was also really flavorful. Dessert was fun. The vinho verde and Ruby port for dessert are also very unique to Portugal, of course. The service was very friendly and efficient. The prices are very fair.
My wife and I spend a lot of time in Portugal, and this is a perfectly solid, authentic Portuguese restaurant....

Having visited numerous restaurants in Porto during my various previous trips, I'm always keen to try somewhere else for comparison. The contained steak was definitely better than elsewhere, but the fried-egg was completely missing, and the whole thing was served dry, instead of swimming in a rich sauce.
Maybe this is their thing, but it didn't match up to any of my previous meals. Good, but far better can easily be...
