Very rude old lady. We bought ice cream and walked to a bench near the water to eat them, just a few metres away. After removing the lid I discovered the bottom had a cut in it and it started to leak. I hadn't even started eating it and went back to complain. Was met with a "so what"? "You've opened it", "can't accept it without a lid" and lots of condescending remarks up until she grudgingly have me a new one. I think if I hadn't told her I wasn't a tourist (in Portuguese) she wouldn't have given me a new one. (Because she probably would have gotten a fine when I complained to the authorities) And on top of it a woman from the restaurant next door came over to ask "what's going on" with body language saying"what is this bloody tourist doing now" but I had my ice cream and just walked past her.
