Taska da Vila — Restaurant in Vila Real de Santo António

We recently had some new friends move to town and introduce us to Taska. For two weeks, they've been telling us the best food in town is at Taska, and we finally tried it.

They were 100% correct!

Taska has an AMAZING chef that creates delicious dishes! He has brought such a wonderful variety and quality to our small town. Only the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used. I highly recommend the salmon tartar and guacamole as an appetizer, and the slow cooked pork cheeks were mouth watering.

The chef is the owner, and he is really friendly and welcoming.

It is a bit pricier than other restaurants in town, but it's worth a few extra Euros for the culinary experience and delicious food.

Had Sea Bass. Fabulous flavor , presentation, and quality of the food. Prices are high near the port for the quantity of food(i think this is vila Real de Santo Antônio's downtown/city center). I'm feeling the Chef-vibes!😃 1/2 piece of bass is the filet (rare bones) at €9 . Not bad for the experience and the area. They do advertise the Sea Bass w/bones - I can only assume its a whole piece of fish. So just ask first. I'd return with friends. Just popped in for coffee and a beer . Lovely place to sit - sheltered from the wind and in the sun ( there is shade if you want it) only €2.20 !! We came back for toasties - which were amazing . Highly recommended. Came back for a burger - delicious. We’ve been here a lot - terrific service and value . The young ladies running it are extremely pleasant and efficient.
