First visit to this place was on the 25/Mar/21. First impression - Ambiance and Interiors were very classic which I really loved. There was just one family dining in the restaurant approximately at 2030 hrs which made me wonder why was this place so empty.
Staff - Having interacted with 4 staff members, they seemed polite however felt like they could add some enthusiasm and energy to their approach.
The main concern - While we were deciding on the menu for dinner, we could suddenly and pretty clearly hear a lady (who seemed like the manager) scolding the floor hostess for some reason for literally 5 -7 mins by the kitchen entrance clearly visible to us. The above killed the whole ambiance and destroyed our dining mood seeing firstly the complete lack in professionalism for being so loud to your subordinates and secondly making it so obvious to the customers and us where the matter could have been dealt discreetly.
We simply decided to leave our table walking out and empathising with the hostess standing by the exit assuring her that it wasn't her fault that we were leaving and that we were sorry for her situation. Secondly, we were disappointed with the fact that the staff were treated in such a way by their seniors.
Conclusion - The above incident hints towards the reason why in the first place it felt that the staff members could add some enthusiasm and energy in their approach and demeanor. 99% of the times, it's the right leadership and attitude that creates that drive amongst the team which seemed missing here.
P.S. - Food review would follow sometime in the near future when I decide to revisit this place hopefully getting a better experience.

Read moreAverage Indian Food. Not something great. Hyderabadi Tikka and Dal was good. Dal was served in a Balti, reminded me of Mangalore Fish Market where a lot of ice is put in the basket and shrimps are kept on top and made to believe that the bucket is filled with shrimps. Actually the balti is only half filled. Rest is hollow..dal quantity is very less. Tried Amara Signature Murgh tikka.. was very average. Veg Dahi ke kabab was also cery average but something new.. Murg Jahangiri soup was good, Khumb ka shorba was also good but was cold when it reached the table.
Service was quick but not a delightful experience. We had informed the staff we have urban points and he recommended we order another main dish since its free, We did as he said. But in the bill, no offer was added. When we asked them they say we shd have informed before the bill, or before we paid. Usually in a place like this we trust the bill is alright and we pay, but when we see and inform there is a mistake, they refund. But here he refused and kept telling us we had to inform them before billing or paying when his colleague who asked us to order another dish did not tell us any such thing. There is another review with a same complaint and one star. 1st time its a mistake, 2nd time its the habit. All he had to do was, own up to the mistake and return 20QR to make it pleasant for the customer. 20QR wasn’t a big deal for us either, how they responded was. Probably had they returned, we would have left a bigger tip than that and returned again to Amara for...
Read moreI recently visited Amara for a birthday party and it was a truly delightful experience! The restaurant's beautiful interior creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for any celebration. The service was outstanding and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
To start, we were served a delicious Caesar Salad that was fresh and flavorful. The crispy Samosas were also a hit and had the perfect balance of spices.
For the main course. We had the Chiken Mughal Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Garlic Naan, and all the dishes were fantastic. The Butter Chicken was one of the best I've ever had, with a rich and flavorful sauce that complemented the tender chicken perfectly. The Chicken Tikka was also very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Garlic Naan was soft and buttery, and a perfect complement to the main course.
The Biryani was another standout dish, bursting with flavor and spices.
Overall, I highly recommend Amara for anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the ambiance is just perfect. Whether it's a special occasion or just a night out, Amara is definitely...
