Overpriced/Overhyped Turkish cuisine fan here - This place is one of the last places where I would eat turkish food in Bucharest
Influencers did their job, the restaurant gained attention/trafic, but in the end social media cannot magically make the food better. They are trying to induce a premium vibe, with the design, location and great service, while hoping this is enough to make up for a business economical ripoff strategy.
I will explain why. The recipes are designed so that they contain as little ingredients as possible without being blatantly obvious to the naked eye. Very little sauce, very little meat, not much seasoning, etc. All of this while charging x2-3 times the amount you would pay in a Turkish location that is not that central/fancy. 56-64-68 RON for a Pide, 35 RON for a Lahmacun, 80 RON for a Beyti and 60-80 RON for Kebabs.
That is insane. But what can you do, you love Turkish food and you've heard a lot about them - So you go to test. And as soon as your food arrives you get disappointed. You look at your Pide/Lahmacun and notice that it has very little meat, very few vegetables and no sauce. You take a bite and quickly notice that it has no seasoning. Salads are absolutely delicious, got to give them that, even though the portions are minuscule, I have to say that salads/eggplant dishes are super tasty.
As an enthusiast, you thought Duman was a scam/disappointment? - Well you will love Duman after trying this place.
We looked Beyti up when it had a 5.0 rating, went to eat one week later when it had 4.9 and now not even one week we ate, it has 4.8. I am waiting to see how much it will drop.

Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at Beyti yesterday, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and exceptionally well taken care of by a member of the service staff. Not only was he incredibly friendly and attentive, but he also gave us great tips about the city, which made our evening even more special.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and clearly made with care and passion. The portions were very generous, and the presentation was elegant without feeling pretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the love behind every dish.

What I love most is that it actually feels like a Turkish restaurant from Istanbul – the vibe, the smells, the presentation, even the background music. It’s warm, welcoming, and has that casual yet elegant energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
Also, shoutout to Razvan, who’s always friendly and attentive – he really helps make the experience even better.
