La Mama Barbu Vacarescu — Restaurant in Bucharest

One of the best dining experiences! Waiter was polite and he speaks English. Meals are super delicious and portions are perfect for an adult in my opinion. They also arrive relevantly fast. The variety is great and they offer some signature dishes. It’s clean and the music is very appropriate and nice - it contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean as well. I recommend you try the pork belly soup, the beef sausages with mustard, the Romanian salad, as well as the papanasi dessert. Interior is welcoming as well.

All in all I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice dining experience with good quality of the food and the service at the same time. It might be a bit pricey compared to other restaurants but it’s worth...

I usually like to go to this restaurant. Food is good and the prices are medium. However starting today I changed my opinion as I and some friends went there to have dinner there and after we ordered the drinks the waitress told us that they have a issue with the oven and they have only a few meals available. What they have available was not exactly what we wanted to eat. To make my point clear : I don't blame the restaurant about the oven problem, I blame the staff because they didn't told us from the beginning they have a problem. Am avut ocazia să vizitez restaurantul LA MAMA și, din păcate, experiența a fost destul de dezamăgitoare, în ciuda unor puncte forte care merită menționate. Servirea greoaie: Am așteptat destul de mult timp pentru a fi servit, chiar și în condițiile în care restaurantul nu era foarte aglomerat. Personalul nu părea foarte organizat și procesul de servire a fost lent. Personal nepregătit și indiferent: Din păcate, interacțiunile cu personalul nu au fost plăcute.
