Osteria Galletto — Restaurant in Bucharest

I had higher expectations, and I don't think this place is good value for money.

Service: Not great. There was a hair in the fries and the waiter had to be convinced it is there and there weren't any kind of regrets expressed. Mistakes always happen, the problem is with the etiquette. Nonetheless, they changed the fries (hopefully, not the same in a different plate). Again etiquette was lacking, they did not provide by default a separate bowl (and spoon) to serve the mussels in white wine (where were we supposed to put the empty shells?). The focaccia, which was part of my side dish, came in late after the main dish, time in which the main dish cooled down. The only positive thing was the waitress that took our order which was very pleasant.

Food: Mediocre. Based on the name of the place, I expected the GALLETTO ALLA GRIGLIA to be much better. The seasoning was mediocre, the meat wasn't especially juicy and it was served with a bland mayonnaise. The mussels in the ZUPPA DI COZZE AL VINO BIANCO were lacking meat, but the sauce itself was good. The grilled vegetables were pretty good too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Galetto Osteria and I can honestly say it's one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm and welcoming, with a true reflection of Italien culture.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and you can tell they use the freshest ingredients. It was clear that each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. The portions were generous, and every bite left me wanting more!

The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch, but the food truly stole the show.

The restaurant was simply excellent! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had arrived at a special place. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern and beautiful design that perfectly matched the vibe of a relaxed and elegant evening.

The food was absolutely outstanding! Every dish was delicious and fresh, perfectly cooked, and with an incredible combination of flavors. Every bite was a unique experience. We especially enjoyed the main courses (grilled sea bass) which were full of rich flavors and wonderful textures.
