August 2023 update: After a few enjoyable visits during summer, we had the bad luck to fall on a rude and unprofessional waiter. , so we stopped going there again. I suggest to the owner to pay more attention to the staff behaviour, and to select his men more carefully.
I have My first experience with tis place dates back to 2007 and it made such a bad impresion on me that I didn't return there until June 2023. I must say, the evolution is remarcable. The place looks way different. It has expanded in every direction and it has been transformed into a real restaurant. Decorated in a very rafined oriental style, it reminds of a Saray. We visited in the afternoon, and the place wasn't too crowded. Several tables had a reservation label on , so it is probably better to call if you wanna go there in weekends. LOCATION: on a fancy boulevard, about fi seven minutes from Muncii Subway station . If you preffer to go by car, there is an underground parking just there. parking on the street is forbidden by law, and beside this , all the addiacent streets have been conquered by illegal parking boys, that won't let you park there if you don't pay them an exagerated ' fee '. This boys are , in fact the only downside of the restaurant. MUSIC: modern, not too loud , a bit too dynamic for the moment of the day. MENU: wide choice of products of oriental inspiration, very well prepared that come in generous portions . The drinks menu matches the menu of any bar or restaurant in town. PRICES: quite expensive , but it's the only place on that boulevard that really brings you enough food for the money you pay. SERVICE: for some reason it reminded me of the American restaurants : relatively fast, fair, but without the warmth and the atentiveness of a Russian IZBA, for instance. I think there is some place for improvement here. Over all, an enjoyable experience. COST PER PERSON: around 150 RON. Will I do it again? YES. In fact we decided that instead of going twice a week to cheaper places, we will go every second week to this place. Looking forward to the opening of DUMAN SWEETS, a sweet extension of the restaurantin final stages of...
