Ganzo Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Bucharest

Awful hostel, pretending to be a 4-star hotel. The only thing about it that's 4 star is the price. The lack of verified reviews on Google is telling.

Among our issues with the stay were: no WiFi in the room (at all, you can't see the SSID as the single router in reception cannot reach the upper floors) room was not cleaned and disgustingly filthy - including stains, hair and candy wrappers on the carpet the one receptionist working there couldn't care less about our stay, and had only sarcastic comments to offer No elevator; pray you don't get a room on the top floors, as you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs No comment on breakfast - the room was so filthy, we didn't want to consume food there Minibar was mostly empty, and we didn't get a receipt for the water we did have Door would not close, the door handle was broken. When we mentioned this to reception, they said they would "take a look". They didn't. We slept with a door that wasn't closing. the AC/fan in the room is unbearably loud; turning it off did nothing, it would still turn on by itself; it also doesn't cool at all, it's only for heating the bathroom looked nice, but was filthy and unclean, especially the shower part; we decided to skip using it entirely

The bed and room size were okay, but nothing could really save our stay, it was an awful...

After a recent business visit to Bucharest and having experienced a bad hotel previously I decided to try somewhere else for another visit, choosing a hotel close to where I had the business meetings. My colleagues and myself decided to try the Ganzo Boutique Hotel. It was a revelation. Upon entry to the hotel I was greeted with friendly staff, check in forms were already prepared and everything was ready almost immediately. The room was decorated in a contemporary style, with high quality fixtures and fittings. The bathroom was clean and modern style with a very nice shower area. The bed was comfortable and all of the bedding was clean and fresh. ||Breakfast was reasonable, not a huge choice of things to eat but enough to satisfy most people. The hotel has hand painted murals on the walls and is very bright and "funky" in style. The only complaint I have is that the room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift at present, but luckily I did not have much luggage to carry up the stairs. Η ΧΕΙΡΟΤΕΡΗ ΕΜΠΕΙΡΙΑ EVER!!!!!!

ΤΑ ΑΣΧΗΜΑ Αρχικά είχαμε συμφωνήσει early check-in, όταν φτάσαμε στο κατάλυμα το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν έτοιμο καθώς "μας ετοίμαζαν το καλύτερο τους δωμάτιο". Η πρώτη κρυάδα ήταν ότι το δωμάτιο ήταν στον 4ο όροφο και δεν υπήρχε ασανσέρ!!!!! Το αγόρι μου είχε χειρουργηθεί στο γόνατο 2 μήνες πριν και δεν μπορούσε να ανέβει με ευκολία. Αν στη θέση μας ήταν κάποιος με κινητικό πρόβλημα θα έπρεπε να φύγει κατευθείαν για άλλο ξενοδοχείο!!! ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ!!!!! Αφού μπήκαμε το βράδυ διαπιστώσαμε πως το δωμάτιο δεν είχε καθαριστεί (η μοκέτα ήταν βρώμικη σε πολλά σημεία, λεκέδες στους τοίχους, βρήκαμε ακόμα και χρησιμοποιημένες ψεύτικες βλεφαρίδες στο μπάνιο). Η κατάσταση του δωματίου ήταν ανεπίτρεπτη! Ξεχαρβαλωμένες πρίζες, δεν ήταν απαραίτητή η τοποθέτηση της κάρτας στην ειδική υποδοχή για παροχή ρεύματος, με το ζόρι υπήρχε ένα μπουρνούζι ενώ το δωμάτιο ήταν δίκλινο, δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα γαντζάκι για να κρεμάσουμε πετσέτες και προσωπικά είδη, το δωμάτιο ήταν πάρα πολύ ζεστό και είχαμε μονίμως ανοιχτή την μπαλκονόπορτα η οποία δεν κλείδωνε. Περιμέναμε να καθαριστεί την επόμενη ημέρα αλλά όταν επιστρέψαμε στο δωμάτιο διαπιστώσαμε ότι πάλι δεν είχε καθαριστεί το δωμάτιο, ήταν στην κατάσταση που το είχαμε αφήσει. Βγάλαμε φωτογραφίες και βίντεο για να δείξουμε στη ρεσεψιον και το επόμενο πρωϊνό, της 3ης ημέρας, μιλήσαμε με τον manager όπου μας ζήτησε συγνώμη και ότι θα μας αλλάξει δωμάτιο από τον 4ο στον 1ο όροφο. Το οποίο και έγινε, ευτυχώς το νέο δωμάτιο ήταν αξιοπρεπές! Λόγω της υποβάθμισης του δωματίου από Delux Club σε Delux Premium μας ανέφεραν πως θα μας επιστρέψουν μέρος των χρημάτων, ~60€, ενώ δώσαμε το ΙΒΑΝ μας 2 φορές μέχρι να φύγουμε (18/2) η επιστροφή δεν είχε γίνει. Στις 23/2 στείλαμε email στον manager και στη ρεσεψιον ζητώντας να μας στείλουν τον αποδεικτικό κατάθεσης χωρίς καμία ανταπόκριση. Στις 26/2 στάλθηκε reminder και στις 27/2 μήνυμα μέσω booking στην συνομιλία που είχαμε. Πουθενά, καμία ανταπόκριση! Η στάση ήταν τουλάχιστον...
