Quickly iconic, this IS the place for street pizza, even if you'll have to leave any Neapolitan scruples aside. This is in fact a very adventurous take on what street pizza means, but the end result is so delicious and all-in appealing that it brushes off any conservatism. The dough is tall and crunchy, with interspersed pockets of air contrasting with the slim, firm and slightly brazen crust, just whooping you from behind to take that bite. Inventive combinations (that work very well) see wild tuna paired with sesame seeds, charred vegetables with thick daubs of chickpea paste and, last but not least, actual beefsteak with more beefsteak goodness. But what really stands aside is the quality of the ingredients used. It's a messy, somewhat greasy, big splurge of a lunch (2 slices will satiate you for the rest of the day) to be enjoyed with the freshest HH canned beers in the open sun of a busy Bucharest square. Strike a conversation with the actual owners who are also serving you to the eerily nice deep house beats....

I don't recommend the place anymore (pizza quality is non-existent and the sandwiches are gone) Original review: I've visited this place 50+ times and my experience was always nice. In the morning they have a nice selection of fresh sandwiches: prosciutto, egg tuna, salami, mortadella, etc. After 11am they start rolling out the pizzas and they won't stop producing pizza after pizza until 20pm. They have more than 20 assortments of pizza, you never know what they have in store when you arrive. That means don't get a fixed ideea that you want a specific pizza, it might not be ready when you arrive. Try a new one every time, that's the best strategy. In time you will know what you prefer. My favorite pizza has pieces of roast steak on top, it's delicious. But if they don't have it, there's plenty more that I like: Quatro formagi, gamberi, tuna, etc. At lunch time (12:30-14pm) and evening (18-19pm) there's a huge queue, so be prepared for 10+ minutes waiting time. The place has good pizza. Is not wow for the price they ask, but while the dough is great, the ingredients are not that great on all the pizza. I did eat from them for the past 4 years occasionally and I never enjoyed the service but it was one of the few decent places close to my house. I have decided to comment now because of the latest scandal but also because 2 weeks ago the same guys were treating me with arrogance just because I could not see that the place was not open while the door was in front, all of them were in front of the door with drinks and I could not see the schedule because it was covered by their bodies.
