Tamashī Sushi & More — Restaurant in Bucharest

We visited this places because I wanted to try the Octopus Anticucho. Unfortunately, this dish wasn't available when we arrived (15:00 on a Sunday). The waiter said it is the best seller. I do wonder. If this is the best seller, why don't you source enough in order to be able to offer it for the entire day. The restaurant closes at 22:00 and the dish is not available 3h after the restaurant opened. Such a pity. The other dishes were good. We liked the sushi a lot because it isn't as heavy as the one from most places. The passion fruit cheesecake was also very good. The restaurant has a problem with the extraction of smells from the kitchen. Although the kitchen seems well insulated from the tables, the smell is very strong. Of course the clothes are unusable after spending 2h there. These are the two reasons for 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise the food is very very good. My new favourite place to eat. Interior decor is ok, sitting outside is a bit annoying as you have traffic that you can hear from the boulevard. But you need to go to Tamashi for the food, we had the tuna appetizer which was really well balanced, as the spices didn't take over the flavour. The sushi overall is well balanced, has flavour and you can opt for raw sushi, traditional, not traditional, cooked, with sauces, without but overall there is variety there is an attention to flavour and in my opinion one of the best sushi places in town. The yuzu liqueur is a must and my partner really liked her lemonade. Service was really good but there were very few people in, it is a must try and tye variety ensures that there is something to choose from. Lovely place ! Great good. We had Gyoza , sushi and shrimp noodles. The gyozas are perfect. They told us they make them themselves, not frozen like other places. You can feel that in when you eat them as the texture is very soft and tasty. The sushi was great, one of the best we had I gave 4 stars for the food as the last dish, the Shrimp noodles where a bit over-cooked. The shrimps where fine but the vegetables in the noodles where blackish and you could taste the smoked vegetables in the dish....also a little bit to salty for my taste. Eatable but not in the tone with the rest of the food.
