We originally intended to visit a neighboring restaurant but ended up here instead. Upon arrival, we were greeted by someone who seemed to lose interest once he realized we spoke English. He later became preoccupied with his phone, so we approached the friendly person at the counter who kindly assisted us in exploring the vegan options. Opting for two dishes—one with noodles and the other with rice, both spicy—we were delighted by the warm and flavorful food served to us. The prices of the dishes were incredibly budget-friendly. My wife and I were craving some Chinese food and decided to try Golden Woks in Bucharest. We had a great experience dining in! The Food: We both ordered a stir-fry with noodles and beef, along with fried rice on the side. Everything tasted delicious, and the portions were perfect. We also enjoyed a couple of beers. Friendly Staff: The menu was a little tricky to navigate, because they didn’t have an English menu but the staff spoke English and was incredibly helpful. We came here on our second day of touring Bucharest. Already, we were greeted welcomely with friendliness from Walid and Manisha. We ordered three hot and sour soups, one plate of 5 shrimp spring rolls, and one plate of 5 vegetable spring rolls. WOW… it was good… and we’ll be coming back before we leave. The taste was great 🔥 Walid’s excellent— treated us very nicely, and even went as far as giving us places to tour around Romania outside of Bucharest.
