Trattoria Pane e Vino — Restaurant in Bucharest

The food was simple and delicous. I wanted an ice latte, it wasn't in the menu, but they made it anyways. The waiting time was 10 minutes for pizza, 5 for pasta. The pizza sauce was excellent, the pasta is homemade, the pizza is thin and delicous (small crust). The ingredients are fresh. The place has nice early 2000's - 90's aesthetic, it is not too fancy, it feels like a cozy italian restaurant in the heart of Italy. The prices are decent, the service is excellent. They still have menus, not a stupid QR menu so this is another bonus. 5/5...

Wonderful food, excellent service, great value, with a neighborhood restaurant feel. Still can't figure out how the managed to get our orders to the table so fast, and the food was soooo well prepared: schnitzels fried with oil at a perfect temperature, the bread with parmesan, crunchy, just made, and the calamari-octopus-shrimp in olive oil with peppers and green olives was really outstanding! Italian restaurant with above average prices and below average food. We have tried seafood pasta and mussels in red wine sauce, and we were not impressed. There are better places in Bucharest to have such food, at a similar price. Also, the restaurant was very noisy and there was a strong food odor causing our clothes to smell bad after the visit. Don't get me wrong, this place is not bad, you should try it for yourself at least once, maybe you will like it more...
