La Maisonnette — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

We stayed here for 4 nights and only wish we could have stayed longer.||Extremely helpful and friendly English speaking Manager. We contacted him prior to arrival and he made sure he was available at the “reception” when we got there. We saw him a few times during our stay and each time he greeted us with a smile and asked if there was anything we needed.||We had the “suite” with a decent sized bedroom and a nice lounge area with a kettle and microwave provided together with a fan that helped during the very warm evenings ( no air conditioning ). The safe in the wardrobe came in handy too. ||Bed was comfortable and power points available each side.||The only downside is that the bedroom has high windows which face a corridor which is lit all night. Whilst there are curtains, they don’t block all the light so bear that in mind if you need total darkness for sleep||Great shower and bathroom, we loved the “waterfall” style tap for the sink!||The hotel is very well located being set back from the main square where there’s always a great atmosphere and things going on, for example we arrived in the middle of a local festival with different types of music on the main stage. Don’t worry though, most events finish by 22:00 so there’s no risk of disturbance from lots of outside noise.||All in all we had an amazing stay and will definitely come back if in...

Was happy with the room in general and the location was great, however was let down because of the following: You advertise that you have a front desk operating 10am and 8pm, however the hours that I checked in and checked out were both during these times and noone was at the front desk. I could have lived with the above issue, however upon checking out noone was there and I rang the buzzer and noone answered. I was hoping to leave my suitcase for a few hours in order to see Peles Castle before leaving Brasov, but because noone answered, so I had to take the suitcase with me. So for the benefit of future bookings, I would suggest you adjust the hours reception is open and the luggage storage option.

Reply to your response: Yes it is warranted because you couldn't fulfill two points that you advertise, someone at the desk between 10-8 and luggage storage. I rang your buzzer and I got no response. Given that I hadn't met anyone in person from the hotel during my stay, I did not have the confidence to leave my bag unattended until someone hopefully...

Loved this place so much when arrived booked to stay for an extra day but that’s where the problem was. First studio we stayed in was number 2 and absolutely loved it and if we had left it there I would of given the hotel full stars and a glowing review as everything was perfect. Then because of other bookings we had to change to room 8 and if we had had this room in the first instance I would of insisted on my money back and found a different hotel. The room itself was clean and a nice size but I really couldn’t stay in a room where the toilet is unusable !!!!! I’m 6’1” and my partner is 5’10” and because the toilet is nine inches away from the wall and for some bizarre reason they have a silly oversized Japanese electronic toilet seat taking up room at the back of the seat it was absolutely impossible for me to be able to sit down and use the toilet and only just possible for my partner.
