Taksim — Restaurant in Arbat District

We visited this restaurant according to the previous reviews. However , we found it doesn’t deserve. I feel there is an attempt to deceive the tourist specially tourists who are from Gulf countries. They were trying to convince us to take some food dishes that were expensive. Moreover , they brought to our table some food dishes that we hadn’t requested. We requested some Grilled chicken and lamb and were not good. ( bad smell) . Imagine that you can smell chicken and lamb bad smell (exhaled) . At the end we paid more than 9000 RUB for nothing. It is just 3 items ( Houmas , Motabel , 100 grams chicken and 100 grams kapap) . We noticed that the quantity of chicken and meat were very low. Their prices are extremely high compared to other or Similar restaurants . Finally , this is my opinion and please save your money and don’t let others...

Very disappointed with both food and service. You might like the food here if you are not Turkish, since you would not know how the real Turkish dishes taste in Turkey. I was visiting Moscow and tried the iskender, it did not taste any good tho edible. We have also ordered lahmacun, but after 30 mins waiting they have told us it still had been in progress. Lahmacun takes 5 mins and turns out they had not even started with it. In fairness, the salad, soup and the drinks were good, but that's not why we were there. The food is good, but the service was one of the worst I have ever encountered in my life.

The waitstaff was unwelcoming, and our waiter lied to us. To make it worse, a tip was still automatically added to the bill (paid around 10k). Please note that they will threaten you calling the police lol.

I also heard their pricing is unfair, they target customers from different countries with different menus (English, Arabic, and Russian) and higher prices depends on the menu language. Make sure to ask for the Russian menu to avoid being overcharged.

I will never ever be going back and I will advise my friends and family to avoid...
