Delhi 6 Review: A Taste of India in Russia
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Delhi 6, a hidden gem in Russia that serves up authentic Indian cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The vibrant decor and aroma of spices instantly transported me to the bustling streets of India.
The service was top-notch – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server helped us navigate the extensive options and made excellent recommendations.
The food was, of course, the star of the show. We started with the Papdi Chaat, a flavorful street food classic that perfectly balanced sweet, sour, and spicy notes. The Samosas were crispy and flaky, filled with spiced potatoes and peas that melted in our mouths.
For mains, I opted for the Butter Chicken, which was rich, creamy, and indulgent. The chicken was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection in a velvety tomato sauce. My companion's Palak Paneer was also a hit, with the creamy spinach sauce complementing the soft paneer beautifully.
Sides included the fragrant Jeera Rice and warm, fluffy Naan bread, both of which paired perfectly with the dishes. We finished off with the decadent Gulab Jamun, deep-fried dumplings soaked in a sweet syrup that were utterly addictive.

Read moreI visited this restaurant because it was one of the top rated Indian restaurants at Moscow, but unfortunately i had a terrible experience. One of the worst restaurants ever, when i was about to have a seat in my table, one of the waiters came and shout while he’s kicking the chair behind me, he waved his hands with anger, and not even talking in English so i can understand him, from what i understand he wanted me to switch my place with the other chair opposite! (The chair was there before i came in!) i didn’t like his behavior the entire of my visit, he was so so rude, i was about to leave but i didn’t want to upset the one with me, so i ignored what happened. The food was really terrible, even if i didn’t consider what happened, the chicken wasn’t fully cooked, it’s not near an Indian food, and it bothered me the entire night, the only thing i liked was only the garlic nann, it doesn’t worth it. The place is inside a mall. I don’t recommend this...
