Cafe Envision — Restaurant in Kigali City

I really enjoy Envision Café’s food, but unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. During our first visit, the staff was not very attentive, and the second time was even worse. We waited for over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or provided a menu. While I understand they seemed busy, what stood out was how a group of white customers arrived, and the waitress immediately welcomed them with a smile and handed them menus right away. Meanwhile, when we requested a menu from the same waitress, she responded with an unfriendly demeanor, making us feel like an inconvenience.

This experience was disheartening, especially because it felt like we were being treated differently. After that, we decided that dining in wasn’t for us and opted for online ordering instead. However, even over the phone, the staff’s attitude was unpleasant, making the experience frustrating overall.

It’s disappointing to say goodbye to Envision Café, as their food is among the best in Kigali. I truly hope they work on improving their customer service because every guest deserves to be treated with kindness...

I was shocked by the service, the waitress was really rude and tried to charge us more than what’s written on the menu, because apparently the price was different in “the system” than on the menu.

The food took a total of 1 hour to arrive, and another hour to add forgotten cheese on a cheese burger.

They gave us two supreme cheese burgers with no cheese and asked us to pay cheese as an extra.

There is only one waitress for the whole restaurant and she was at times sitting with her friends. Clients would have to approach her and her friends table in order to pay their bill at times.
