Kalih Villa — Restaurant in Kigali City

Honestly speaking, THEY RUINED MY EVENING.

The Area itself is calm and nice. But, this is the first time of my life that I had to wait 3h30 to be served spaghetti Bolognese, italian meatballs and Creamy Chicken Pasta.

My friends and I waited more than an hour to be served our drinks and almost 4h to be served the foods. We complained to them, neither the waiters nor their manager where even bothered to do anything. One of the waiter even told us that because we came after other clients we have to wait to be served after them. Imagine going to a restaurant at 6.30pm and finally eating at 10.pm. And the worst is that all the food was tasting horrible and tasteless. Even their "Cesar Salad" is empty; there is only lattuce and onions in it. The meat was smelling bad and they even confused the order of one of us. Finally she did not even ate after waiting for her "Filet steak" for too long. At the end we where so upset and angry and guess what? On top of all that they managed to make mistakes in our bill adding prices of things that we did not consume at all. SORRY BUT I REALLY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND...

Kalih Villa had good Rwandan food with some cross-genre influences. We had the curry chicken and the chicken Stroganoff. Both were good. The French fries were properly cooked, crispy outside and tender inside. The Lyonnaise potatoes were also done right. Parking is very limited and the driveway may be trouble for someone in a wheelchair. ...
