Read moreIf you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Egyptian food, this restaurant is definitely a gem worth visiting. From the very first bite, you can tell that the dishes are prepared with care and passion. The freshly baked bread alone sets the tone — warm, soft, and flavorful, it immediately tells you that you’re in for a treat.
The soup is another highlight. It has such a clean, refreshing taste yet manages to be full of layered flavors. It’s light enough to start your meal, but so satisfying that you’ll remember it long after. It’s the kind of starter that really prepares your appetite for what’s coming next.
And trust me, you’ll want to come hungry because the portions are generous and the flavors are irresistible. The rice, for example, is simply amazing — perfectly cooked, aromatic, and so delicious that it’s almost impossible to stop eating. It complements everything else beautifully.
The meats are another standout. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, they show how well-seasoned and perfectly cooked everything is. Whether grilled or stewed, every bite feels rich and comforting, exactly what you’d hope for in a traditional Egyptian meal.
Beyond the food, the whole dining experience feels warm and inviting. It’s the type of restaurant where you don’t just come to eat — you come to enjoy, share, and indulge in flavors that make you feel at home even if Egyptian cuisine is new to you.
Overall, this is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover or rediscover Egyptian food at its best. Come with an empty stomach and leave with a full heart (and definitely a...
Read moreWe have lived in Egypt for eight good years, and one thing we alway enjoyed was food there.
All the the time we spent in Riyadh for the past nine years we never been to any Egyptian restaurant, never heard of one to be honest.
Driving by the street we came to know of Hamam Abdoh, that we can call someone finally offering good Egyptian cuisine.
Like all the authentic restaurants in the KSA, where you will probably never find the same taste as the original country, Hamam Abdoh is also not different. It offers taste very close to Egyptian food in Riyadh.
We tried Stuffed with rice pigeons, one famous food of Egypt. Back home it’s usually juicy and more flavorful, here it’s a bit dry and dull in taste, yet, it still fills your tastebuds.
Other food we tried is Tarb, a kabab that’s is grilled wrapped with thin layer of fat. Very tasty. Kunafa and tea too great.
