Al Ruwad — Restaurant in Makkah Al Mukarramah

SALEEM ALI IS THE BEST!!! My mother and I recently stayed at the Swissotel Makkah, and breakfast at the Al Ruwad Restaurant during our stay. We were originally incredibly disappointed by the waiter staff as it took forever to get their attention, and get any help from the staff. However, Saleem was the exception and was absolutely an incredibly person to connect with. He was incredibly personable, caring, and was able to customize meal options due to our food preferences/dietary restrictions.

Saleem exemplifies class, empathy, care, and understanding the importance of the customer experience. I have recommended my friends and family for this restaurant solely due to his stellar quality of service, and hope his high standard of work is the new standard which all the other teams will...

Ok so I have always been a fan of Their breakfast but lunch was out of this world.

Everything was extra ordinary Taste 100% Freshness 100% Variety 100% Hospitality 100% Ambiance 100%

I tried a bit of everything the best was pasta station chef Mahmoud made an extra ordinary pasty for me and it was just so yummy.

There were many desert but kunafa was very very yummy and the fruit shots were very yummy had at least 5 of those

The manager arranged pizza for my daughter on special request cannot thank him enough.

Nice big buffet style restaurant. Staffs are nice and always on hand. They have a big variety of foods, snacks, breads, seafoods. Most of them are delicious, yum. There are egg stations, pancake and drink stations. My only complain is, they need to add more variety of fruits and different cuisines. I went for lunch and there were sushi and it was nice, but for dinner and breakfast they almost have the same...
